Our volunteers Jane Cooper and Sandra Crabb put forward the idea of aggregating “Hard to recycle” items to take on to larger locations such as Roots in Stafford, the Household recycling Centre in Hortonwood or Terracycle Telford. The scheme launched in June 2022 and it’s proven to be a great way to engage with members of the community – so may people want to do what they can, but find it hard to come up with practical solutions.
These events will run monthly on the 3rd Saturday at the Library from 10-12. Please bring down items on the list and we’ll reduce the number of car journeys and associated carbon footprint of sending these on.
